Earlier today the ABC’s AM with Sabra Lane covered the interim results from a promising personalised medicine program called ZERO Childhood Cancer. WIMR’s Centre for Cancer Research Director, Prof. Anna DeFazio, featured in the story and shared her expertise in the field.


ZERO Childhood Cancer is designed to find therapy options for children who have high risk cancers and is only offered to children when traditional treatments have failed.

Researchers and clinicians say while it won't work for everyone, it could help find treatment options where none have previously existed.
