Biography

Svetlana Pianova is a Senior Research Assistant with Neuroinflammation Research Group at the Centre for Immunology and Allergy Research at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research. She completed her studies at the Kharkov University, Ukraine in Human Physiology prior to moving to Sydney. She has extensive research experience in the areas of neurobiology, molecular biology, and genetic epidemiology. Svetlana has made significant contributions in the field of Melanoma and Neurosensory research and was acknowledged in a number of publications. Svetlana is currently working with Dr. Jo Gamble and Professor David Brown on projects investigating new therapeutic targets for spinal cord injury and neuroinflammation. Keywords
