Congratulations to Professor Tony Cunningham AO, who has been awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Society of New South Wales. 

The category of Fellow recognises the substantial contribution made by residents of New South Wales who are leaders in their fields. 

Professor Cunningham has been recognised as being one of Australia’s leading clinical and research virologists and has made substantial international contributions to HIV and herpesvirus discovery research culminating in the development and trialing of a highly efficacious shingles vaccine, a paradigm in the ageing.
